I've been doing quite a bit of dream knitting since we got back from DFW Fiber Fest. I always come back from a show in a knitting (well, okay...a cast on!) mood.
I'm probably the last knitter on the planet who hasn't knit a "fade" of some sort. But the yarns above are calling to me...loudly.
I've got the Fading Point shawl by Joji in my queue, and I'm pretty sure I'll be joining the "fade" party with the above colors. Except you need 5 colors and as you can see, I've got 4 colors.
A few possibilities:
a couple that are lighter
wind that shakes the barley
seashells
Or maybe something a little darker
days end
Either way, I'll be doing some dyeing to get to a cast on!
What's your opinion? Would you go darker, lighter or somewhere in between?

I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
