Knitting season

It’s getting to be that time of year when I love diving into a pile of yummy yarn!

I remember back when waiting for the fall knitting magazines (especially Interweave Knits) to arrive was something of an “event.” You just wanted to crawl into the pages and live there! Oh, they were great!

There’s just something about fall knitting that is special. Maybe it’s because I usually stop knitting at some point in the summer. It just gets too hot and humid to enjoy having wool in your hands. (This is when I usually get into sewing mode.)

But then, one day, there’s that morning when you walk outside and it feels…nice. Cool-ish, even. The humidity is low. It’s a sparkling kind of day.

And I invariably start thinking of all the things I want to knit.

This is why you need stash:)

A knitter with a nice bit of stash always has options. And instant gratification.

Let’s knit!
