Today's the release day for our newest cross stitch pattern, A Country Day!
I'm all in love with this one, and the little pillow sits on a table right outside of my studio doorway so I can see it every time I walk by. It never fails to make me smile.
It's stitched on a beautiful linen by Lakeside Linens called Cornsilk, and uses Weeks Dye Works and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. As with all of my designs, a DMC conversion is included in the pattern. The pattern also includes a version of the chart that says "A Summer Day" for you summer lovers.
The butterfly in this design is stitched over one, and I include an enlarged version of it for ease in stitching.
We're still waiting on the fabric to make kits for this and our other designs. But once it arrives, we'll have kits ready to purchase that include the chart, the linen and all the hand dyed threads needed to complete the pattern.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
