Everyone has at least one, maybe more! It's your Stitchy Spot! The newest Skinny Mini from October House Fiber Arts celebrates the place near and dear to every stitcher's heart.
I had so much fun designing and stitching this new pattern, I may have gotten a little carried away with myself. It's stitched on 36 count Winter White linen by Seraphim Fabrics. I stitched the model with one strand over two threads.
Threads used: Classic Colorworks (CC), Gentle Art Sampler Threads (GAST), and Weeks Dye Works (WDW). A conversion to DMC is provided.
CC - Blacksmith Blue, Crab Cakes, Caroling, St. Bernard, Crushed Pineapple, Blushing Beauty
GAST - Brandy
WDW - Chestnut
Stitch count 161 x 38

If you're the kind of stitcher who likes to add your initials to your project, I created a complimentary alphabet for Stitchy Spot. I think the spot right over the two cushions at the end would be perfect for initials.

In my little example, I used the dark blue, but you could use any color. They sit just right on top of the cushions.
And if that's not enough, I also designed a little extra stitchy goodness that you can add to your Stitchy Spot! This little free extra is EXCLUSIVE to our Auto Shops.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
