I've been in quite the sock knitting mood lately, and for me, that usually means some new sock patterns!
This is our newest free pattern, Summit Socks.
I designed these last year for Jimmy, and if you're a subscriber to our newsletter, you got your free copy back in October as part of our 5 year celebration.
The inspiration for these socks came from all the hiking we do, and walking all those switchbacks up and down the mountains. I really enjoy having a little something interesting at the cuff and then zipping through the rest of the sock with just a plain rib or stockinette. Especially when you're knitting man-sized socks!
Download your free copy here, or you can add them to your Ravelry library here.
I'm Robin, the dyer and designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about yarn and knitting, stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
