Wahoo, I finished "A Friend Loveth" on July 31st, right at my self-imposed deadline. I've got to find a frame and get it laced, then I'll show you the FFO and give you my conversion.
I loved this linen color...a lot. It's Parthenon by Colour & Cotton. (I was part of their monthly fabric club for a few years.) I went to their website hoping to order some more of it, but it seems they changed their business model and no longer offer dyed to order fabrics.
I love pale linens and can never seem to find enough! Do you have a favorite pale or light colored linen? I'm always looking for good suggestions.
Meanwhile, I've made a goodly start on Sew Blessed in blues. I decided to stitch it on 40 count linen, so it'll be just a touch smaller than the original. I won't be making such quick progress on this one, since I've got a few new designs to work on. But I am going to try to finish it by the end of September.
As soon as I get it stitched, I'll be giving you a conversion for it as well!
This'll be my last Summer Stitches project for this year, but I really enjoyed getting a few "personal" projects stitched and (mostly) finished. Very satisfying!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
