I haven't been very good lately about showing off the Sock Club yarns and goodies. But I'm here today to correct that oversight!
Let's start with Summer Camp from last summer (yikes!):
July was Cabin #5 on Cottage Sock
August was Miss Milford's Nature Walk on MCS Fingering
September was Canoe Races on Sojourn Sock with coordinating mini, The Shallows
Campers also got a balsam sachet, a tiny cross stitch kit, a small bar of soap, stitch markers, candy & granola over the length of the club.
Next is A Poetic Touch for autumn:
October was Along the Winding Way on MCS Fingering
November was Moonspill on Sojourn Sock
December was In the Bleak Midwinter on Cottage Sock
Unfortunately, I didn't remember to photograph the December box before I mailed it out! There was a coordinating mini-skein as well as the other goodies, which I don't even have a picture of!
Members also received corner bookmarks, stitch markers, chocolates, gift tags, a christmas ornament, plus a poem for each month with a brief overview of the poet.
Next up is Souvenir de Paris at the beginning of this year:
January was Morning in Paris on Cottage Sock
February was Cobblestones on Everlasting Sock
March was Paris Atelier on Sojourn Sock
Travellers also got a madeleine, notecard, progress keepers, a lavender sachet, chocolates and bookmarks.
And that brings us pretty much up to date as far as the Sock Club goes. We are in the middle of the 2nd quarter - Through the Garden Gate. And I'm already doing some prep work on the 3rd quarter club and thinking about the 4th quarter!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
