Where does the time go?
This is the fourth year we’ve done a “Happy New Year” ornament. (Doesn’t it just sound fancier to say “Bonne Année”?)
I enjoy designing these each year, and I think you can tell I was thinking about late winter/early spring flowers when I designed this one! Of course, when I designed it flowers were still blooming around the yard!
I think it's safe to say that I really like this Pistachio Frappe linen by Grace Notes Fabrics. I first used it for Vineyard Faire. But since then, I keep using up every little scrap of it I have left in different things. It's just sort of the perfect green-but-not-too-green.
If you are new around here, you can find the previous year's ornaments over on our Freebies page.

It may be a little early to say it...but Happy New Year!

Thank you so much! It’s such a beautiful ornament! It also would make a wonderful gift or used as a tag for a stitchy friend.
