I have been looking forward to the arrival of spring this year with an eagerness I don't recall in my younger years. Honestly, over the last few years, that feeling of waiting for spring has grown and grown.
I used to be much more of a fall/autumn person. (You probably couldn't guess that based on the name of my business:)! And don't get me wrong, I still love fall. Love the change from summer to fall, love the leaves, the apples, the pumpkins. Love it all.
But the sweetness of spring is growing on me. The chance to get out into the sunshine. Just working in the yard doing simple things is fun. A tonic for the winter weary soul.
So here's to blue skies, daffodils, green grass and bumblebees. I love 'em!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
