I used to make a lot more jams and jellies than I do these days. But the full bloom of summer always makes me think about making preserves.
Summer Jam is my little tribute to those summer days. All the bowls and baskets of fruit, the steamy kitchen as the jam cooks, and the beautiful little jewel-like jars that are the result. Love those jars!
You may remember this little cutie from last year...I offered it as a limited edition freebie last August in celebration of 10 terrific years as October House Fiber Arts. I mentioned that it would be a regular release in 2024, and here we are!
I've upgraded the pattern from last year and it now includes two versions - a short jar version and a tall jar version. I stitched both of these in just a few days, so it still makes for a quick stitch even if you do both.
The tall version does include a couple of extra colors (Strawberry Parfait & Cherry Tomato) that are not in the short version.
Details:
Stitch count Short version 62 x 40, Tall version 61 x 46

You can pre-order your copy from your favorite local or online needlework shop! Our Auto Shops get these designs before anyone else.
Supporting our cross stitch shops and community is a primary concern for me, so I always encourage you to purchase my designs from your favorite local or online needlework shop. It's for this reason that you won't see my newest designs available for sale on my own website for a few months after they are released.
Check out our Needlework Shops page to find a shop near you, or an online shop.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.

Wonderful new releases. Do you know the name of the fabric you used for finishing the short pillow. It is perfect with that stitch.
