Just in time for the summer flowers, say hello to our newest design - Garden Sass!
I've pretty much used all my favorite colors in this piece. There are a few different elements going on here. Of course, the sassy little basket of flowers takes center stage. But the little row of Quaker-inspired motifs down the right side and the top and bottom border calm things down just a bit. I personally love a meandering alphabet. It's always fun to squish all the letters into a confined space.
The linen this is stitched on is from Grace Notes Fabrics. And I have become a big fan of their fabrics. I tend to prefer a hand dyed linen. But I like a subtle hand dyed look more than a bold and splashy one, and they really excel at that.
This linen is called Blueberry Milkshake and it's just a perfect background for this design.

Supporting our cross stitch shops and community is a primary concern for me, so I always encourage you to purchase my designs from your favorite local or online needlework shop. It's for this reason that you won't see my newest designs available for sale on my own website for a few months after they are released.
Check out our Needlework Shops page to find a shop near you, or an online shop.
