I'm proud to introduce the newest addition to our shop...cross stitch designs!
I've been a cross stitcher since I was a teenager. I learned on the basic aida cloth using DMC threads and lots of backstitching. I kept at it pretty regularly throughout my 20's and 30's. As a matter of fact, I started my own small cross stitch and quilt design business in my mid-thirties. The business didn't last long, but my love of cross stitch and creating designs was cemented. I especially love using hand dyed threads and linens, which are now fairly commonplace.
It seems cross stitch is enjoying a real revival, and I couldn't be more thrilled!
