Have you heard about Needlework Expo?
It's a new virtual wholesale market that is happening in just about a month. With the unfortunate news that the Nashville Needlework Market won't be happening this year, this is happy news!
October House will be participating and we'll have 4 brand new releases. Lots of your (and my) favorite cross stitch designers are participating and we're already seeing lots of sneak peeks. Tell your favorite local needlework shop not to miss it.
I'll be sharing peeks of my new designs over the next week or two, so if you see something you want...be sure to tell your shop so they can order it!
Cheerful Giver is the first peek - a sweet little pillow with a happy attitude.
Stitched on 32 count Apple Brown Bindy by R&R Reproductions. It uses Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works flosses. It finishes to a practically perfect 4 1/2" x 5". The mini pom trim is by Lady Dot Creates in Vintage.
I finished this using a rosy pink Essex linen by Robert Kaufman fabrics, and stuffed it with good ol' polyfil.
I know this may sound a little strange, but I love playing catch with little pillows like this! When I need a computer break, I toss one in the air several times. They're just so ooshy squooshy :)

I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
