Our last preview is Gillyflower:
A little serendipity was at play with this design. I worked on the pinkeep first, but I kept thinking how great the flowers would look on top of a biscornu. So I did that, and then mostly as an afterthought I put the bird on the bottom. But how cute are they flying around there with a string of blue?
Biscornus are much easier to make than they might seem, if you’ve never tried one. But if you haven’t, once the pattern releases I’ll have a little tutorial that guides you through the finishing. You'll be able to find it under the Tutorials section right here at my website.
The models are stitched on 40 ct. Linen by Weeks Dye Works with Classic Colorworks and Gentle Art Sampler Threads.
