Floretta Sampler is the third design in our preview of the Nashville Needlework Market:
Sometimes I sit down to design something to fill a particular spot on my wall, and that’s how this very soothing little sampler started.
The bonus is monochromatic stitching...with silk! Talk about soothing and relaxing. I had in mind a little row of wildflowers as I worked on the middle row of flowers in the sampler. I’m a little bit smitten with them:)
The model is stitched on 32 ct. Dusty Road by Seraphim Fabrics. I used Gloriana Silk Threads in Cotswold Blue and boy, is it a beautiful blue.
Stitch count: 149 x 159
Finished size, as stitched on 32 ct. approx: 9 1/4" x 9 7/8"
Release date: March 4, 2022
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
