I love things that have a past (like old books, vintage ornaments, antique furniture) and faded, vintage-y looking designs always make me smile. This design certainly fits that bill!
The linen is one of my favorite colors - Aspen by Weeks Dye Works. It's a perfectly mellow green that can look gray or beige depending on the light.
I chose floss colors that look like they may have faded over decades, but you get the look instantly as you stitch it. Very satisfying!
