Nashville Needlework Market is coming up in just a few weeks! It seems to come faster each year, or maybe I'm just getting slower each year.
We have 5 new designs debuting at Market this year, and the first is Vintage Tree. (This is our Nashville exclusive.)
I love things that have a past (like old books, vintage ornaments, antique furniture) and faded, vintage-y looking designs always make me smile. This design certainly fits that bill!
The linen is one of my favorite colors - Aspen by Weeks Dye Works. It's a perfectly mellow green that can look gray or beige depending on the light.
I chose floss colors that look like they may have faded over decades, but you get the look instantly as you stitch it. Very satisfying!

I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
