My husband gets credit for this design, since it was basically his idea.
He plays several instruments (you can see them in the design): mandolin, hammered dulcimer, and mountain dulcimer. He also plays guitar, and he used to play the violin until his neck revolted.
One evening he told me I should design something with "Make a joyful noise" in it, so he could hang it near his instruments.
So I did.
It's a privilege to be serenaded by the beautiful music he plays, and I thoroughly enjoyed stitching this design.

Supporting our cross stitch shops and community is a primary concern for me, so I always encourage you to purchase my designs from your favorite local or online needlework shop. It's for this reason that you won't see my newest designs available for sale on my own website for a few months after they are released.

I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
