I've been enjoying all the love you've given Friendly Blooms. This was a quick and fun little stitch! It's one of those that is addictive right from the start, and before you know it - it's over - and then you're a little sad.
I love blue. This was one of those days when I just needed to stitch something blue. I guess I feel about blue the way a lot of stitchers feel about red. It always catches my eye.
I stuffed this little fella completely with crushed walnut shells, so it feels great in your hand. I trimmed it with a mini pom-pom by Lady Dot Creates. (Robin Egg is the color.) I chose a navy gingham for the backing.
Now it lives by my ironing station and see it almost every day!
I'm Robin, the dyer and designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about yarn and knitting, stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
