Our newest designs are shipping to our Auto Shops this week, and they'll be heading to everybody else in a couple of weeks.
The first is the newest Skinny Mini pattern "Deck the Halls":
One of my favorite things each Christmas is decorating our tree with our vintage ornaments. It's funny, some of them didn't start out being "vintage"...but they are now! But others definitely started out old and loved.
Twenty to thirty years ago, you could find boxes of vintage ornaments at yard sales for next to nothing. I remember finding 3 boxes at one sale that were marked 25 cents each...and one of those boxes was Shiny Brite. We're still using them!

I finished mine with a little patch of the backing fabric on one end of the front, and tied a little twill tape bow. The trim is a green and white bakers twine, and I stuffed it with walnut shells.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
