I thought it would be interesting to take a look back at the first quarter of the 2019 Sock Club and see what it looked like for our subscribers. The theme for that quarter was Alpine Village.
Each month the club members received a box that held the skein for that month, plus a few goodies all wrapped up in coordinating tissue paper and washi tape!
For January, the colorway was St. Moritz on our MCS Fingering base. It also included a downhill skier progress keeper, some swiss chocolate (Toblerone!), a notecard, and a recipe card for my favorite hot chocolate.
February was Alpenglow, on our Sojourn Sock base. It came with a bonus coordinating mini skein in the Rose Quartz colorway and a little valentine chocolate.
March was Lederhosen on our Cottage Sock base. It came with an adorable tyrolean hat progress keeper, a tea sample and chocolate.
The next quarter's Sock Club theme is Patisserie, and I've been having a ball gathering goodies and dreaming up colorways.
I'm going to try to remember to take a video of the box, to show a proper "unboxing". It will go out right after we get back from DFW Fiber Fest. Let's hope I remember!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
