Although I've been devoting the majority of my time to cross stitch for the past few months, I've also managed to start and finish a few knits.
Of course, I finished my Patisserie shawl back in November. I'm ashamed to say it's still waiting to be blocked. But that is on my list in the next couple of weeks. After all, I'll be taking it to DFW Fiber Fest!
I've also finished a couple of pairs of socks...a pair for me and a pair for Jimmy. I've gotten really bad about documenting my knitting the last couple of years. Which is especially pitiful considering I'm always knitting with my own yarn!
Jimmy also got a nice, warm hat last month. It's knit in our Grove Worsted, which is so soft and delicious. I had knit myself a hat last year in this yarn and it's just the warmest hat I own.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
