CARE: This is a superwash yarn and will NOT felt. It can be washed in the machine, however, I prefer to hand wash all of my hand knitted items and lay flat to dry.

Although thoroughly rinsed after dyeing, it is not unheard of for some excess dye to be released in the first wash. This will not affect the color of your yarn. I advise washing your finished objects separately the first time. If using strong contrasting colors to stripe (for instance), it may be prudent to give your dark colored skein a quick soak prior to starting your project, to avoid any bleeding.

What is a SPROUT colorway?  A “sprout” is a unique, one-of-a-kind colorway. These are the happy accidents or serendipitous blends of color that result in a unique, non-repeatable color.

Sprouts may be the result of special experiments with new colors or just the results of creative playtime! Some sprouts may go on to become repeatable colors in the future, but most will only appear once.

So, when you see the green “Sprout” sticker on a skein you love, don’t let it get away! It’s truly one-of-a-kind.
